I awake. Turn down the sheets. You should be sleeping beside me. Walk to the window, pull back the shades. Ice crystal clouds all around me. Am I dreaming? Am I dreaming again? Stop the light from seeping in. Cover my eyes with remembering. I turn my face to where you could of been. Holding space for my wondering. Am I dreaming? Am I dreaming again?

The Story 06:23
I see it in the way you say I knew you once but that was long ago, that was long ago. If the city had a map like your eyes I could get back the way we came. If your body didn't lie I could read between the lines on your face. Oh the stories they would say. Oh the stories they would say. I can see that you're not laughing, the moment we were grasping slipped away. The moonlight through the room where our love light use to loom is saving face. I know we feel like strangers, but I feel I know you better than before. Something in the way you hold on, forgiveness is the salt within our sores. Oh the stories they would say.... In a twisted point of view I got lost within the word you want to say. Now my mind and heart don't speak and silence is the only thing we see. If I could open up the part of us that never seemed to find a place to be. Oh I would turn the hands of time, put your hand in mine and walk with thee. Oh the things that we would see....

Black Ocean 05:50
Black ocean fast I swim No direction home just these waters I know The surrounding wake, but on the surface I stay don't think of where I've been Black ocean no fear of death just these waters around my head The lights of the city pass, the calm water moving fast, beneath my flesh devour. Then the sun comes and the warmth runs. Moving past me, slowly soothing and returning, I go beyond where the shore meets and what home means...dividing me.
